But the camera was cooled - Mike, Duncan and I can all testify to how cold in was in that field on Saturday night!

Mark, I was going to say 'naturally aspirated' but you're right and they were ideal conditions for a DSLR.

That's getting towards to quality of a cooled camera without the fuss of taking four different sets of images.  Did you do darks, flats etc ?

Yes, I used darks , flats etc.  But I took a shortcut and reused the darks and flats from a previous image.
