Canon 600D with Nikon 300mm lens.  ISO 800 5 sec at f/4.5

Just like the view I had this evening from Hayes...

...except that all I could see behind that tree was cloud. Very fine cloud; excellent opacity, and with the perfect degree of sodium glow...

I think it was 5 mins. I didn't do any flats or darks though.

Quite a bit of movement for 5 minutes, I'd expected longer.

Lucky to get 5 minutes of clear sky though
