Solar viewing

Sun's looking good  through the Ha scope some nice prominences.
Not doing any imaging just chilling out with a cider or two and every now and then looking at
the sun. Happy days

We used our new solar filter for the first time today, it's only a couple of months old! And to add insult to injury there was the smallest sun spot imaginable. Netherthess, it was a chance to try out my new Canon D500 and get a few images.

Well done Roy I haven't used my camera on the back of a telescope for about three months.
