Ok, I'll play with this a little later, but during the O3 the high clouds came in so the image degraded, I have put here smaller False Colour and Ha images for you to look at.

All usual kit EQ6 Skyscan, Atik 314L, all exposure 10 minute 11 Ha & 7 O3, Referance Darks and Bias used from a month ago and all images processed in AIP4WIN and Photoshop CS.  Oh yes and Sigma Combines with Dark Temprature matching oh yes I read the manual.

False colour, me thinks too bright

False colour maybe right

Wow, another gorgeous Veil, amazing definiion again, and I love the framing. awesome job

RobertM

Very nice Chris and the images are quite low noise.

What's the Black level in the unprocessed Ha subs ? mine's about 2100 without darks, flats or bias calibration.

Chris - That is a fantastic result (especially when considered where you took it & with the conditions we had last night) - Imagine if you had taken this at Tuesnoad or Les Granges... The inverted image shows so much detail it's unbelievable & a zillion stars - your focus & tracking both look superb....

Great shot on a really tough object - John

1602 for a sub and 141 for the dark, so approx 1460 background noise last night, after stacking the image came to 47 adu

Chris, how did you get the colour on your witch, using OIII filter & Ha. I assume you did not do RGB?

Fay

Chris did you duplicate the OIII subs, one for G & one for B?
