Tonight is looking naff, but there is a possibility of clear(ish) skies tomorrow or Thursday that might give you an opportunity to view or even image some of the Perseid meteors.

#2
Well, Friday night was the only real chance of getting this Image, due to the weather and the neighbours trees, but what looked like a promising night to start with gradually turned sour with the cloud rolling in, although there was clear patches the moon seemed to alway be covered, but still visible. So this is an image taken with the Toucam (threw cloud) and processed in registax. Still managed to get 1 challenge done (2 others were not so successful)

This is an image I took back in February (without cloud) which I think is better, but it did say August, so couldn't use it.

Thanks John,

This is another taken with just the Toucam, where as the previous images were with a X2 barlow.

Tony, you are really good at Moon images, they are great!
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

All excellent Tony, well done.

I wanted to have a go but the moon is too low at present to be seen over the neighbours trees.
