LRGB image done on a laptop so the colour balance is probably out.

I always love seeing the colours in the disk of Saturn, thru the scope it always looks yellow.

Nice one Chris.

The seeing forecast was bad, the moon was bright and looked hazy, covering the whole sky in moonlight so I didn't even bother to get the scope out.

You've got a good camera there.  I looking forward to some images on a night with excellent seeing.

Very nice image, Chris. What model mono DMK camera is it?
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Great image Chris,

Love the colour and detail of the banding in the first image.

Fay its the 04 mono USB one, it has a B&W 1/4" chip in it and nearly no noise, its cool.  But not cooled.

MarkS

Is that the DMK 21AU04.AS USB?

If so, it uses the ICX098BL chip which is the B&W equivalent of the chip in the SPC900 webcam i.e. the same chip but without the colour Bayer filter.   But the supporting electronics are far superior than the webcam!
