The Thing

22 Jupiters each 25% of 5000 frames stacked in Autostakkert4! and sharpened in good old Registax, all de-rotated in Winjupos and final image sharpened in Wavesharp.

Image date, time and location: 2025-01-16 19:07UTC, Manche, France
Telescope aperture and focal ratio: Teleskop-Service Classic Cassegrain 8" f12 fl2463mm
Camera and filters used: ZWO ASI 678MC uncooled OSC (2 micron pixels), no filters
Processing applied: Autostakkert4!, Registax, Winjupos, Wavesharp

Nice set of images Duncan!  Are they all taken at the same scale, so the relative sizes are how they would appear visually in a scope?

All exactly the same setup and no resizing. No barlows or powermates involved. I bought this scope for planets, small galaxies and planetary nebs. Looks like it'll produce the goods once I collimate it with my new (today!) TSCOLLIT collimation scope.
