For those that hadn't seen the post on the WhatsApp chat, taken before 6AM last Friday 13th January:

Just an hour's worth of exposure (x2 because tandem setup used).  Comet is still brightening and heading further north in the sky (will be evening object soon).  Keep an eye out for it.

I like that.  Very noble of you to get up at 5am.

What sort of trickery did you use to avoid star trails?

Great shot Roberto. I'm hoping to have a go at this comet if the sky ever clears here, it's nicely placed for morning observation at the moment. But if it rains much more I'll need a boat to get to the observatory, it's a good thing the floor is a meter up!

Thank you All!  Carole, I tracked the stars as the comet was not moving much just past perihelion.  Then stacked the stars and comet separately in PixInsight and processed separately, only joining at the end.
