Bright fireball over Somerset

The UK Meteor Network has received over 200 reports of a bright fireball over the South West. It was captured on some Global Meteor Network cameras from Yorkshire to Kent. On some it was so bright it completely saturated the frame.

My GMN camera looks the other way, so all it captured was a brief brightening of the sky...

Analysis of this latest event is on-going, and there's a chance fragments may have reached the ground (or, more likely, water).
