Hello All

Hope you are all well and looking forward to getting rid of your masks!  I'm going to be off for a couple of weeks in the Lake District and Wales and thought about sharing a couple of images taken over the last few days.   I am sorry I am going to miss the first onsite meeting of the Society but look forward to seeing you in August.

Sun in CaK and Ha - 15 July - details here:  https://www.astrobin.com/79vu95/B/

Barnard 142 and 143 in Aquila - Barnard's E - details here: https://www.astrobin.com/uytzgt/F/

and wider FoV (RGB data only),

See you soon.

Those star backgrounds are amazing!

Very nice as usual. The prominences are weird with the white background. And it looks like someone has taken an eraser to part of the E! Wonder if it was clearer in Barnards day?

RobertM

Yes very nice indeed.  I agree with Duncan about the white background.

The Barnard "E" is amazing - such a dense star field with great star colours.

Lovely images Roberto.

I shan't be getting rid of my mask, but not going into politics here.

Off topic but I don't think it's political to recognise that the UK is presently engaged in a reckless mass experiment.  For my personal protection I'm upgrading to FFP3 masks.
