Nice capture Roger. The galaxy seems to have lost its colour though.

Hi Roger,

You've got some good data there.  You even have the tidal streams coming off the galaxy.  It's always good to find other galaxies in the background.

It's nicely processed but a bit green overall.

Much better reprocess Roger. Still some green there that shouldn't be there.  Have you got HLVG (Hasta la Vista Green) plugin for photoshop, it works well on green.  I think there is an equivalent in Pixisight but I don't think you use that.

You should have posted into another reply as just amending the first post doesn't come up as an unread message, at least that's how I search.  I wouldn't have known it was there if you hadn't E Mailed me.

Anyway, hopefully this post will alert members to know there is a new one to look at.

Would be interested to know what you did differently and whatever it was try to do that next time.

I only stretched with levels not curves before i joined LRGB.
I used levels for hue/saturation and increased saturation by a little.
I used layers in photoshop for levels and fine tuned red green and blue individually.
I used a luminance layer with unsharp mask to improve it.
A lot of fine tuning especially of rgb individually.

Good job, I find the processing so difficult as well.  It's good data as Mark says, you've brought out the faint bits.
