I only discovered this pretty little galaxy when some-one posted it on SGL yesterday and since all my planned targets had disappeared by the time the skies had cleared last night, I only really had galaxies to choose from.

Sadly wasn't able to get more than 3 hours on this at Cairds and of course no chance from the back garden.  Would have liked to have had two nights on this, but sadly the forecast was for clouds and rain.

Hopefully can get more data at a later date.

Quotemight try with my SW120,
it's very small, so don't try it with the DSLR.

Thank you Roberto

Hugh

Is that a star in front or even a supernova at 11 O'clock?

Hugh

Carole

It's a star Hugh, if you looks on the web for any NGC3344 images, they all have it.

That's come out a treat Carole. There nice little galaxies dotted around of all shapes as well.
