Woohoo an astronomical picture at last!   :D

Moon & Venus. Quick snap through my patio window at about 5am this morning when I got up to go to the loo.

It was a pretty nice conjunction - I noticed it driving to the station this morning.

Rather nice composition.

Looks like a sort of reflection crescent below the real one.

It is. I was shooting through double glazing.

Nice...was going to do this myself but camera bat was flat & had to leg it to work... :-( Glad someone got it - looked great visually. John

Managed to get a quick "snap" before camera battery died - Result was/is pretty duff so converted to greyscale.
Mike's looks better  :)
