Anybody come across this one ?
Frequently when I click on an open tab, it opens in a new Chrome window rather than just switching to the tab.

I am using a crappy old laptop at the moment

check that the original window dosent have the tab you have just clicked,

If it doesnt then you probably have a faulty mouse,
I know that sounds strange, but clicking on the tab dosent do anything in chrome except change to that tab.

But if you click and drag, then that tab is automatically removed from the current browser and opened in its own browser,
i.e. it look like its been opened in a new window.

So thats why i suspect a faulty mouse, in that its recieveing mouse click and mouse move events.
and chrome is using this to move the tabs into their own browser,

Failing that just uninstall and reinstall the latest version.
