NA Nebula 12th and 22nd June 2011 re-stacked

OK, further to my other thread I have re-stacked this using final stacks from each night and then stacking the two tiffs together.  The horrid diagnonal noise has almost disappeared.

I "think" I am fairly happy with this now, but always open to suggestions for improvement.

Total 38 x 5mins (3hours 10 minutes) 800 ISO
DSLR 450D + Clip filter and ED80

Yes I think I have had enough of NGC7000 for the time being as well.

Mick your NGC7000 image would have been really good if you had got it central in the frame, it's just another step on the learning curve.

Thanks, but I achieved what I wanted, I was just trying to see what nebulosity I could capture with the modded camera.

Wouldn't have taken long to centre it though  :roll:

Seeing some delicate structure in the nebula, you can also see the Skull and the head of the Pelican coming throgh which suggested over eager clipping on the last image. Real nice one Carole.

I'm always careful not to do that, but I agree there was something definitely not quite right with the last one.
