Why this board?
« on: Jan 12, 2010, 09:43:02 »
Technical was starting to get bogged down with PC problems rather than technical astronomy discussions. Fresh topics discussing computer, internet and other non-astronomical gadgetry can be discussed here. Astronomy Technical threads may be split out here if they start to become general.

Note, fanboi posts for Mac, Windows, Linux will be given a short sharp blow with the moderating stick as wielded by the either the Adminstrators or the two moderators for this board Mike and Mac.

All you need to do now is move all the PC related topics form the Technical Board and rename them appropriately

John, once central heating related posts start to swamp the rest of the posts in a forum, I'll gladly set one up for you ;)

Please note, nothing in the above statement constitutes a challenge... :D

Thanks Rick, I asked Ian but he said he couldn't be bothered

Then he said you would do it because you have nothing else to do all day  :(

I'd go and bash him if I were you

Damned good idea.

Maybe it will stop other threads being hijacked all the time ;)

yeah OK perhaps I was being a bit optimistic.
