stack 5x4 minute at the full 2 meters.just a star field

Looks like RA drift between subs - were you using PHD by any chance ?

Na AA, its probably a little flexture in the filter wheel, I had to goto the manual one again, the stars are not very elongated so its not a big issue, nothen that a good set of rings wont cure along with the ATIK Motorised filter wheel v3 whenever I get it.

Very impressive Chris. Will be interesting to see what you can do with this set up. Any idea what the weight is? Have you overloaded the EQ6 ? What have you done to dampen oscillations?

Err I think its 10kg all in, I have done nothing to calm things down, appart from the fact the 55kg pier is bolted to 1.5meter square on concrete, not a portable setup I must admit, but it seems to work.

But there is a balancing trick you need to know, John and Fay knows what it is :-)
