Active sun!

Just take a look at the sun on the soho website and click on the LASCO/C2 and LASCO/C3 animations to see just how violent the sun is.
Also see if you can spot the comet and tell me whether this one is heading straight into the sun!

Looks even more spectacular this morning.
Looks like the comet hit the sun sending a huge flare out.

Wow yeah - Look at that. A pretty big one too ending in a fiery death.

Do you notice that object that looks like a flying saucer or saturn that slowly moves to to the right slower than the stars move ?
