If using a Light Polution filter an IR filter & a Focal Reducer, is it important which order they are attached to the camera?

Hi Fay, I don't think it matters - I normally have my IR right next to the camera (because I always leave it on) - then I normally have my light pollution & then FR at end (nearest to scope) - I think I did it that way because if I put FR at bottom then I had problems focussing because I have limited travel. You should find when you put FR on scope that you'll be able to image with shorter exposures for same brightness level.

I look forward to seeing some results - 2night looks promising..

I shall be out there tonight. I will try for M51 again & the Bubble. I received my focal reducer, today, I have only waited about 9 weeks!

I sold my Digimax & 2 T rings for £77 on Ebay. Was quite pleased with that. That will pay towards my 2" light pollution filter for the Canon.

sounds good.. Did you get the Astronomik CLS.. it's a great filter.. Cheers John
