I presume this is having an effect on your night sky Mark.  What a bummer after moving to a dark, location.

Hope they will get this sorted soon.

From where I live, I can't distinguish it from the rest of the Ashford light dome so it's not in a direction that I usually image. But I feel very sorry for those who live closer to this monstrosity.

Unfortunately, being a Department for Transport facility, it could completely bypass local planning regulations.
