Galaxies NGC3718

This one is not going to win any prizes, but thought I'd post it up anyway. 

Been wanting to get this interesting galaxy which I call the spinning top galaxy because of its shape.  Unfortunately the sky conditions were not great and it clouded up before I could capture much data.  Then of course my mount had a nervous breakdown the following two nights and I never managed to get any more.  I did capture 1 sub each of RGB, but it's no good to use, so this one will have to be mono for now.

This was BEFORE I decided to put the SW130PDS on the mount, so taken with an ED80.

It's an interesting galaxy.

It's always worth trying something unusual. You can't lose by trying something different every once in a while.
