I will take a look at it Mark, thanks.

One comment l should make is that using your original instructions on some images l have not been able to apply the curve in the same shape due to the histogram being further across to the right and therefore the black flat line needs to be longer.  This is despite doing the black point at the beginning.

It may have something to do with the quality of the data of course.

Yes, the length of the flat black line will vary according to the image data.  It because of the way the gamma curve works.  It shouldn't be so much of a problem when using the Arcsinh preset curves instead.
