Hmmm...

They can see that much, but they couldn't see any remains from Beagle2. Seems to me to suggest that Beagle2 didn't reach the surface, even in bits.

although they did know exactly where Global Surveyor landed. Finding Beagle II is still needle in a haystack...

although strickly speaking they're are looking under Mars Express for it...
