Title: Lazy partial Lunar Eclipse
Post by: Carole on Jul 17, 2019, 10:49:41
Not had my kit out since I was last at DSC back at the beginning of May!!!!  Apart from my travel kit which I used in Spain beginning of July.

So took the lunar eclipse with my smartphone which struggled to get focus in the dark.  Also had the dog on the lead with me, and luckily she didn't pull at the lead at the time of the photo.

The Moon landings were a fantastic achievement, and there have been some fabulous programmes on it.  But I don't know about you guys, but I am feeling a bit Maxed out on it now.  Griffith Observatory. BBC programmes, Star Gazing Live (which was fab), Sky at Night, and on the news every five minutes etc etc.
