Looking very good also - perhaps a tad green - nice field of view - John

Fay

Another nice one Carole
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Carole

Thanks Fay and John.

Looking pretty good for a DSLR Carole, some artifacts around the stars but then you have posted a JPEG so it's probably that.  Also a bit of a flats problem on the left so it might have been a cropper.

Cheers

Quotebit of a flats problem on the left
so there is, I hadn;t noticed that.  I did in fact do a crop but had problems uploading it to my website, but I have done that now, so here is the crop:

I am thinking the sky background is a bit on the green side as well.

RobertM

The crop is much better and yes, you'll need to neutralize that green.

I like the cropped version!

Your stars are very sharp and you've managed to retain some star colour in this one.  The centre is not burnt out either.

As others have said, neutralise the green/brown background and this will look really good.

Have neutralised the green and tried to increase the star colour a little.
Hope this is better.

Carole,

That's a super image and reminds me of when I saw M13 for the first time which was at Kelling this year; I was amazed having never seen anything quite like it before.
