I wasn't able to use the data from Kelling to combine with the High Halden data I did at Mark's as the orientation was too far out for DSS to stack.
However I have now found out how to align in Maxim and have had another go at combining the data from both sessions.
I am not sure whether it has improved the image or not, I "think" it might be slightly smoother, but I'll leave the opinion to you since after looking at it for some time it needs a fresh pair of eyes.

Now the combined data is:
ED80, Modified Canon 450D as far as I recall no CLs filter
Kelling Heath Sept 2012  19 x 5mins
High Halden 1-10-11 39 x 5mins
Giving a total of 4 hours 50mins

I think the latest looks a lot noisier Carole
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Thanks Fay.  Well there is no logic in that unless I screwed up the processing.

Sorry, Carole. I agree with Fay, it does look a little noisy :(

Maybe I did more noise reduction on the previous version.
