The Thing

Lovely effort, nearly as good as mine.  ;)

Seriously, it's great to see the whole structure in context. When I image these largish objects I can only capture a part. I am going to have to master EQMosaic to get anything like the field of view you have with the Tak (I can just afford EQMosaic ).

Mike

Really nice Mark. I like the Flaming Star Nebula as it also has the nicely coloured stars around it. Makes for a colourful image.

Rocket Pooch

Hi,

Very nice, the Ha in that area goes on for ever, are you going to add some data?

I'm not sure.
Tonight, assuming it's clear, I'm going to add some more data to one of my recent images:  M42, Horsehead/Flame, Rosette, Pleiades or Flaming Star.  I just haven't decided which one.

looks great Mark - colours are fantastic. Actually still looks like there is a bit of noise to me which is hard to believe considering amount of subs & your skies.... Superb though - john

The Horsehead was definitely my favorite image from last year - so I'm adding more data to it tonight.  But without the antlers and red nose!!!

Having another stab at M78 tonight, hopefully it should turn out better than my last attempt now they've turned the 10kw of lights off that passed as a tree at the memorial..

Fay

Wow so many stars Mark & lovely colours
