Following on from another chat last night with Julian, regarding Narrow band imaging and DSLR's

This was the filter that I was talking about, It combines the narrow band filters for

Ha, Red
Hb, Blue
Oiii, Green

in to one filter, so using it with a DSLR should be pretty good,
as it rejects the Sodium & Mercury bands completly.

The problem is the one I've got is still playing Hide and seek at the moment,
It look as if its available as rither a SCR Rear cell, 1.25" & 2" filter so all the bases are covered.

Might need an IR cut filter for imaging though as there doesn't look to be much of a cutoff at the longer wavelengths.

Mac

True but only if your DSLR has been modded,
otherwise the Hotfilter will do the UV & IR Filtering for you.

Must have a good look round this weekend and see if i can find my one.
