I have clipped the black point a bit, but am planning to add LRGB if I can get a life extension

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

The Thing

That's looking sharp Fay. More onion ring than smoke ring, if you see what I mean. Very nice. You go ask the vicar nicely for that life extension. This would look smashing in colour.

This one is quite a difficult subject in one way or another.

Fay - That's not too bad - Like you say black is clipped & there is some sort of gradient bottom left but impressed with your 30min subs. I have come to conclusion that it is very tough to do this one justice unless you have the focal length - It is just too damn small...

Yes, hard to process as well. There is a gradient on both sides. Now the bar has been raised on some of these objects, if you are not in a good place, with suitable optical equipment, then it will be a trial to get the most out of the nebula. Just a normal image is not good enough now!!!!

Glad that I did 30 min subs, that  will prepare me for nebulae season, probably will not be able to do it anymore, you know how it goes!!!!
