I assume that this is another victim of your eight inch? I love the detail.

Very good M13 Chris.  The star colours are great and you didn't burn out the core (which I did last last time!).

Yup with the 8" meade, collimated this time though.

That's nice Chris, what are the details?

Hi,

It was 6xLRGB @ 1x1 300 sec, QSI 583, Meade 8" ACF @ approx F7.5, EQ6, QHY6, 300mm Camera Lens, EQMOD, PHD, done in doors via Ultra VNC.

There you go.

Great globular. The resolution is superb.

Makes me wonder if my 8" Meade OTA is capable of more - but it's not an ACF  :(

Great image Chris, the origial size version looks even better.

Hi,

Thanks folks, I'll have a play with the L next week to see if I can balance the little stars into the image, I must admit after the collimation the image looked really good, so again I'm chuffed for the second time in a week.  I still have two images to process, so that will be the next cloudy night job.

Funny how Paul and I have both visited old subjects again, I did two last night and I was talking to John about how funny it is we get all complacent about imaging today compared to six years ago when anything was good.

Also, for the second night I used PHD with Pulse Guiding, the figures were not fab, but I think the image says it was good enough, PHD worked flawlessly with my two ASCOM Cameras, maybe I'll keep using it.
