Planned on 20 subs, but was so tired & the clouds came in anyway.

Quite pleased with it, after all my scenarios

Sky was so bright last night.

Very nice Fay - Looks like you'll be keeping the QSI then  :(

Very nice Fay.  The conditions were even bad for NB imaging last night so you did well.  You need to get that flattener sorted out but I wonder why you have distorted stars towards the top right rather than a more even distribution around the edges.

I was going to say that Robert, my guess is the flattener is not done up, or Fay has cross threaded the QSI or the adaptor to the QSI.

Chris

Fay

So, Chris, do you have two adapters connecting the flattener to the QSI??

Hi,

I have an M48-T thats the correct length.  So it goes Flattener-M48-T-QSI.

Could also be the weight of the camera on the focuser, maybe it needs a bit more tension.

Carole

Very nice crisp detail Fay.  You seem to have sorted all those initial problems out.

Onwards and upwards.

Very nice 2nd light!  That's a very sharp Rosette.

Fay

Thankyou Mark, Carole, yes I am having a rest tonight. At least I have made some headway.

Thanks Chris, I will look that up, it is not the one that Ian sent me

That's super Fay. Keep persevering and people will think you bought a second hand Hubble camera!
