Crappy search function

Is there any way to get the search results to show in date order. The results always appear in 'relevance' order, which is pretty useless.

Use the "Advanced Search" which gives you a choice of orders.

Nope. I's been there since we switched from phpBB to SMF... ;)

It isn't perhaps as obvious as it might be, and it takes two clicks (or a bookmark) to reach, but I use it more often than not. :)
