that sounds like an excellent idea.

I take it if there are enough takers then you will put up a poll for the grub.

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Or we could do a big pot luck cook up like at Blacklands. Tony might even source some reject tasty chicken for tuppence ha'penny again!  :parrot:  Just need some big pots. And some luck.

Duncan,

Who said it was chicken.
Did you notice any crows at Blacklands, the last time we were there, I don't think so, and Chris is a good show with that rifle. ;)

Tony,

Why did you think I mentioned luck? You don't need luck to pluck chicken out of a chiller cabinet. Now what was that song about 4 and 20 blackbirds, wasn't that a Ray Mears recipe?

It's my old tunnel tent. We used it last at Penny's Field.

You should know by now that Metcheck is very optomistic :-) I don't care about the weather I'm going to relax anyway.

I'm an optomistic type of person, and I don't mind relaxing either. ;)

Interestingly, Metcheck forecasts seem to move in time faster than the days go by. For example, if you look at the site on a Monday you might find clear skies for say the following Saturday night/Sunday morning. By Wednesday this predicted clear sky has moved to Friday!
