M13 - Blacklands Farm DSC May 2010

[The Thing]

Meade LX90 8" UHTC, Baader Alan Gee II Telecompressor, Astronomik CLS-CCD clip filter, Canon 350D Ha Modded. Processed in Deep Sky Stacker 10 subs 41 minutes. Amp glow cropped out and image shrunk x4. The flats and darks used were old ones, may do some fresh flats as the camera is still on the scope.

That's a excellent result.  I really like the resolution of the core and it doesn't look over processed.

Why did you need to crop out the amp glow?  Darks should take care of that.

The guiding is certainly working well.

Why did you need to crop out the amp glow?  Darks should take care of that.

Didn't take darks at the time. Duh. Just picked some from my hard drive. I will reprocess when I have time to do darks at 3C and some properly matched flats as well.

I like NGC6207 at the top left - never had an incidental  fuzzy show up before.
