This is 17x600, Atik 314L. SW 120, cls, L filters, flats, cropped

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

That looks great Fay - How does it compare with your previous attempts - would be interesting to do a side-by-side. I reckon you could stretch/ push a little more to show up all the background neb.

Very nice image, as with the 106, the only thing is you need to work on the brighness scalling a little, bot are good images but look a little bright.

Bring out more of the faint stuff and tone the core down ...

Very nice Fay.  Lots of the faint stuff beginning to appear there.  The "Black Beast" certainly gives a good scale.

BTW,  how on earth can you put up with a gold finderscope on your shiny black refractor?

I have realised I have a very nice finderscope that came with the Orion, matches SW120 just fine. So I match nicely now!
