Me too. When I image the moon I usually get a really bright edge even in unsharpened images.

I haven't made it an img link as I don't want to hijack Fay's thread and here lovely images.

I seem to recall you can stack FITs in Registax 5 and you can open TIFFs for wavelet enhancement only.

Duncan, I think 2 lots of exposures would have to be done to combat the bright edge & then done in layers in PS.  Will have to have a look at Registax 5.
