Comet 73P-B With Digital Camera

Hi,

In addition to M81 last night I also took 10 or so single 1min exposures of the comet using my EOS300D attached to the ZS66. It was nice to have the wider view & one shot colour. Even with the full moon they came out reasonably well. I've attached below the full frame image reduced in size & a centre crop on the comet at full size. I may try stacking the 10 images I have to redce noise or perhaps try making a small animation to show the movement over the 10mins...

JOhn - I am well impressed!!

Was hoping to get out last night at the Imaging Session to do the comet, but it was cloudy as usual. I hope I can get some pics before it dissapears.

Thks Mike - Hopefully, you'll get a chance in the next week or so.... I'd love to see what you can get with the SXV..
