Mike

Imaging Session III is now set as Friday 12th May starting at 1930.

This is for the astrophotographers to get together and do some imaging together. Anyone else who wants to come to watch and learn is also welcome.

Hot drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Bring a sleeping bag if you are crashing overnight.

If you need the address or my phone number then send me a PM.

Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3
Mike,
weather permitting, this will be a very good night to observe this comet and the next two nights aswell, this is when it is at its closest to us.

This is a sky map showing the position of the comet on the night of 12th May and the morning of 13th May

Hi Tony,

Well then lets give it a go over the weekend!

Do you have the RA & DEC coordinates for those nights?

Chris

Tony G

Hi Chris ,
good idea, the only reason i suggested the night at Mike's was because of the brightness and close proximity.
I will look for the co-ordinates, I have them somewhere, anyway i think John P has them memorised or his scope has auto polit for this object(s) :D
