Posting images onto the Gallery and forum by Picture Instructions

This has been sent by E Mail to the members many of whom have found uploading images and posting them on the forum difficult.  It has been suggested that keeping a copy on the Astrophotography thread might be useful. 

I know Rick has already posted a thread on this which is all text, but it was thought pictures might help and it keeps the PDF in an accessible place. 

Please note that from now onwards, only Astro photos posted to the Gallery or Forum will be considered for the Imaging Competition and the Calendar.

That looks very useful Carole, hopefully that will save you a few emails.

It would be nice if it was viewable directly when opening the post - perhaps Rick has some magic for that?

Add your image and details of Equipment used and length of exposures etc

Your image should now appear in your forum post.

N.B.  YOu can also add images from other hosting sites such as Astrobin, Flicker etc etc using this same method of right click, copy image address and then post in the forum.

Great idea to put this on with pictures, it will hopefully encourage more members to post on the Forum and Gallery
