Perseids 2022

I've been away, so my meteor camera had to look after itself for the last three weeks. Since I got back I've been going through the observations, and it's been interesting to see how the shower developed. The first meteors apparently linked to the Perseid shower were detected on the night of 26th/27th July.

26/7 - 27/7 13 Perseids out of 39 meteors (a bit of an early spike?)
27/7 - 28/7 1 Perseid out of 6 meteors
28/7 - 29/7 1 Perseid out of 4 meteors
29/7 - 30/7 7 Perseids out of 22 meteors
30/7 - 31/7 No meteors (or stars...)
31/7 - 01/8 2 Perseids out of 7 meteors
01/8 - 02/8 No meteors (or stars...)
02/8 - 03/8 No meteors (or stars...)
03/8 - 04/8 13 Perseids out of 23 meteors
04/8 - 05/8 10 Perseids out of 20 meteors
05/8 - 06/8 16 Perseids out of 33 meteors
06/8 - 07/8 43 Perseids out of 99 meteors
07/8 - 08/8 61 Perseids out of 111 meteors

That's as far as I've got with my confirmation work so far, but a brief look at the raw data suggests that the peak should be quite interesting.

Here's a table of the whole shower as recorded by my camera. Spot the cloudy nights, and note that sometimes the camera manages to record meteors through patchy cloud. If it can see at least 20 fainter stars through the gaps then it will look for meteors...

Yep, even with the full moon the maximum worked out pretty well. The spell from 15/8 on, not so much, mind...
