Your link sends me to a Flickr login page, so I wasn't able to see the larger version.

It looks pretty good from the small version you posted.

Thanks Mark. I'm completely new to Flickr, so am not sure how it all works with links. Maybe you have to be logged into Flickr. I don't know, but will look into it.

There should be a full size image in the OAS Gallery under my works in progress.

Have a good day and clear skies

I don't know Flickr either but I was able to see your "Cygnus Region and Friends" image on Flickr without logging in.

Mac

just had a look at your flickr photo, it says its private....

:cheesy:

Mac.

Using flickr.

When i link from my flickr stuff i do it this way.

Select the image size you want to share, I normally just select the 1024 size and open the image, (link below)

That link is the link i share to display the image links and all their sizes

https://www.flickr.com/photos/193932661@N04/51457561137/sizes/l/

then right click the image and open that image in a new tab and then use that image link to physically share the image, as below. (i selected the 400 this time)

After you open the image in a new tab you get the following url.

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51457561137_b1aa4b03e8_w.jpg

That is the full url for your image which you get from flickr.

Thanks Mac.

Really useful info regarding Flickr.

I made the image public. You were correct, for some reason it was set to private.

Hopefully that should sort it out.

Thanks again for your help.

Another excellent image.  You're going to be a great addition to the imaging team.

That's a beautiful image and well processed!

By the way Garrick, if you have uploaded images to the OAS gallery, you can link them from there, this will enable every-one to see them without having any problems with Flickr.
