Well first image for months or is it years?
Flats were a nuiscance , needed 70sec flats, and each one takes 22 secs to download.

Already commented elsewhere Fay - very nice image - well done.. ;-)

Lovely image Fay.  The skirt is just beginning to appear.

It's a nice feeling to be back in action?

I was pleased that I did it, yes. the next few days are not going to be all that, so I will have to dismantle..............

About time you had a new shed on rails to cover your gear, you could make it look like a little chalet and put window boxes on it ;) Just a thought.

Lovely deep image by the way. So this was on the 8" SCT? Looks like good optics, my old example is a bit :pirate:.

Ha ha thanks Kenny, Duncan. yes bit off putting to keep putting it away and getting it out again......if you know what I mean!

Excellent result Fay, that's quite a lot of skirt for our locality.

Thanks Carole. it could have been better. I did not put a dew strip on until late, it was very dewy,  and then the scope was near meridian, when I always get problems with dodgy stars. all in all I was happy. it is cropped but not because I had a problem
