Does anyone know how to add attachments to a post from a mobile device?

You can add attachments in one of two ways:

1) You can put a file somewhere on the web and use a URL tag to link to it (or just let the forum see the link and do its own thing with it).

2) You can put an image file somewhere on the web and link it using an IMG tag.

The difference with mobile devices is that you may not have handy access to the editor buttons, in which case you will have to type the tags by hand.

The tags look like this:

A picture:[IMG=http://site.name/image/path/picture.jpg]
