Any-one know what's going on here?

I was using my WOZS71 and focal reducer which i haven't used for a while.

No dew on the aperture as I checked that, I could see with a torch right the way down to the sensor.

Full frame is with full stretch in Maxim.  Even the looping you could see it was darker in the middle.

All the bright stars had this weird halo around them.

My guess is dew inside the camera on the CCD.

Thanks Mike - bugger, gonna take it all apart today and check everything and start again.

thats what I had Carole. i think you have to put the temp higher on the camera for a while, before bringing it back down

When you say higher, do you mean lower temperature and then bring up up again.

I took it all apart today and everything seemed fine, but what I did discover is that I forgot to plug in the dew heaters to the power, Duh!!!  But can't understand why there aperture didn't look misty.

Gonna have one more try tonight there is a short window and tomorrow night last rtime I looked is predicted to be clear all night, so if it still doesn't work tonight I'll change my equipment back to what I have been using lately wihtout problems.
