Friday 13th Full Moon

Part of the full moon taken this morning.  Single 1/100sec exposure at ISO 100 with Canon 600D on Celestron C11 with 0.8 reducer.  Effective focal length 2240mm at F/8.  Some sharpening and contrast enhancement applied.  I have other pieces for an eventual mosiac.

Turns out it so low its below the trees at my house. So no Moon pic.

Apparently this will be the last full moon on a Friday 13th for another 35 years !

That's right, not until 2049 - I captured a rare event  :cheesy:

It's a nuisance that the other parts of the mosaic did not come out nearly as well - either the seeing deteriorated or tube currents started up inside the C11.
