APT and CCD

has anyone tried to connect their ccd camera to APT? I have connected QSI but nothing happening

Did you download the right version? I think there is one for DSLRs and one for CCDs.

I think there is one for older DSLR's and another for newer, but both should support ccd now

Fay I have it and it works on mine V 2.1.  Not captured anything on it yet as only did it in the last few days, just connected it and did some fakes exposures just for testing.  Has set point cooling too.

I wonder whether it connects to all cameras. 
Ivo is very good with support if you have problems.

Fay,

You need to Shift-Click on the Connect button to get a choice of DSLR or ASCOM CCD to connect to. APT remembers your choice for next time. the Tool Tip explains.

did that but ASCOM box opens for choice of camera, but most of the box's are greyed out. and nothing happens after that

Finally got a chance to try out APT with the QHY8L this evening and it worked fine.
