Hi,

NGC6543 next time I'll use me barlow.

Cool!
Are you limited to 30 second exposures, or could you go for more 10 second integrations?

Rocket Pooch

Hi Paul,

I'm limited to the field rotation of the scope and the light polution.  Near polaris the rotation is bad, and NGC6543 is near Polaris, hence the need for a wedge.

The light polution in the back garden limits me to 15 second before the flood lights go out then about 30 seconds after (field rotation).

So move house and wedge, simple answer.

Is Wedgie going to arrive in time to make an appearence at DSC?

Rocket Pooch

Not dur to money at 150 in the UK its to much, but one of my underlings at work is bringing me back one from the US later this year there 70 over there.

Mike

Pretty good structure in that. Should be interesting to see what you can bring out with the Barlow.
