I went into RUN & typed ipconfig/all, to find my laptop MAC address. The box with the black  background with the info in, flashes on & off, so I cannot read the address. Does anyone know why this is & is there another way of looking at it.

Thanks you computer experts

If you want Mac's address, why not just send him a PM?

Fay

yes have done that Mac, but the laptop keeps wanting the code from the bottom of the router. Then says it cannot connect to the server. & then suddenly it works then decides not to.

check what channel its broadcasting on, as if the next doors router is on the same channel you will sometimes get drop outs,
as each router is trying to connect on the same channel.

thats is also in the wireless setup

You haven`t got the dreaded Sky, have you, Fay?  I have had horrendous problems with Sky and when the phone contract has finished, I am going to cancel the bloody lot...... television, phone and broadband.

I am in the process of trying to source a decent package.......
