IC 1396 54x90s ISO 320

Hi All, here's an image I grabbed over the weekend, one thing i've learned is that the Hyperstar doesn't like haze, those red skies created some nasty gradients

However, I did get possibly my best attempt at IC1396, this has always been a personal nightmare for me to image.

Anyway, here it is, this is 54x90s ISO 320

That looks very good Daniel, excellent sharp stars across the board.  You must be very pleased with that.

Thanks man, although I must confess up at 100% the stars do seem to lean to one side a little, think my secondary has rotated a little again, seems to throw off any attempts at good collimation.

It's looking very good - there's some great detail in there.

Did you use any filters?  I'm amazed at what you get from your location.

Hi Mark, I used the CLS filter for this, the idea of not using filters on the hyperstar round this area fills me with dread, think i could go about 1 second before it whites out!
