This was taken from Kelling Heath.

10 x 300s exposures stacked in MaximDL with a bit of tweeking in PS

Taken with EOS450d + 200mm lens @ f/2.8 on an Astrotrac mount, no filters ISO 1600

Unfortunately a bit of drift as PA wasn't quite close enough but not too bad otherwise.

Nice Robert - Have you got an Astrotrac or was it one you borrowed...?

RobertM

John,  I've had an Astrotrac for nearly a year but I need to use it more often.

JohnP

cool - I have often thought of getting one... I must have a look next time I am around... cheers,  John

PS - Any joy with the ToUcam?

RobertM

I'm taking it to DSC so you can see it there if you're going.

No joy with the Webcam as yet, might have another go tonight but I suspect the CCD is a duffer.

JohnP

 :( :( - shame about the webcam...

not sure about DSC - I have no plans to camp but may pop down during one of the days...

Cheers, John

Great image.

Bring the webcam to DSC, I am sure between us we can sort it out or write it off.

MarkS

That's come out very well Robert.  It shows the how useful an Astrotrac is!
